The International Yoga Day was celebrated in our school on 20th of June with great enthusiasm through a special morning assembly. The program began with a warm introduction highlighting the importance of yoga in maintaining physical fitness, mental peace, and overall well-being.
The assembly commenced with a prayer, followed by the pledge. A meaningful thought for the day encouraged students to adopt yoga as a way of life. The highlight of the program was a graceful and energetic yoga dance performance by the students, which beautifully showcased flexibility, rhythm, and mindfulness.
A student from Class 7 delivered a speech on the importance of yoga, creating awareness about its benefits in daily life. Birthday wishes were extended to students celebrating their special day.
The Principal addressed the gathering with inspiring words, motivating students to include yoga in their daily routine. The assembly concluded with the school anthem and a message encouraging students to lead a healthy and disciplined life.
After the assembly, some students showcased different yogasanas.
Overall, the program was informative, engaging, and successfully emphasized the significance of yoga in everyday life.
